Murder Suspect Arrested After Deadly Shooting
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora arrested a murder suspect on Tuesday wanted in a deadly shooting last week.
Aurora Police, along with the assistance of the Weld County Sheriff's Office, arrested Christopher Michael Martinez, in the shooting death of Clifford Eugene Wilson, Jr., 33.
Martinez, 34, was taken into custody in Wattenberg. He will be charged with first-degree murder and first-degree assault in connection with the April 1 homicide.
Detectives said the investigation revealed there was altercation at the home located at 18967 E. Mercer Drive between the Wilson and Martinez. Police said they knew each other.
