Mullen Fire Burning In Wyoming North Of Colorado State Line Fills Sky With Smoke
ROUTT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Mullen Fire burning in Wyoming burning north of the Routt County line has burned 35,810 acres with just 2% containment. The fire has been burning for more than a week about 15 miles north of the Colorado state line.
More than 425 personnel are fighting the fire which is burning in the Medicine Bow National Forest.
It's burning rapidly in extremely rugged terrain, with dense vegetation and beetle-killed deadfall.
