Police heard the faint crying of the baby when they arrived at the apartment.

Police believe Jackson's death is suspicious. Authorities haven't released her name yet. The baby is currently with family who live in the area.

"It's like losing a star, a falling star," said Monique Jackson, Camille's mother. "Right now I'm just in shock."

Monique Jackson called police after not hearing from her daughter for a couple of days.

"I got out of the car and that's when I realized something really terrible had happened," she said.

An autopsy report revealed no apparent injuries. He neighbors said they heard something going on in her apartment on Thursday night.

"I just heard real loud noises, they woke me up out of my sleep," neighbor Andrew Campos said.

A fund has been set up to help pay for funeral expenses at Wells Fargo under the Camille Jackson Memorial Fund.
