Missing Toddler Found Safe, Mother Valerie Watson Arrested
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Commerce City have located a toddler who was reported missing earlier this week. Danny Fish, Jr. is 2½ years old and his mother, Valerie Watson, turned herself in to Denver police on Thursday.
Danny was found to be in good health. Watson remains in custody and will be facing criminal charges.
Watson lost her parental rights to keep Danny and there is a restraining order to keep her from seeing him.
UPDATE:
On Friday, the Adams County District Attorney's Office announced felony kidnapping and violation of custody order charges against Watson, plus a misdemeanor count of violating a protection order.
