Missing Hiker Dies After He Was Found Near Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A hiker who was reported missing while hiking on Blodgett Peak near Colorado Springs on Saturday has died.
Search and rescue crews located the 28-year-old man at around midnight. He was found at the bottom of the summit near some boulders on the west side of the peak and was still alive when he was located.
Crews had to take the man down along a trail because a medical helicopter could not reach the area.
