Marijuana Tax Revenue Helps Fund New Rec Center In Aurora
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Aurora is getting a brand new rec center thanks to marijuana tax revenue. Crews broke ground on the new 62,000 square foot facility.
The new rec center is located on Alexander Drive near the Southlands Mall. This is the second rec center in Aurora to be fully funded by pot sales. The first one opened in 2019.
This new rec center will open in 2023.
