Man Shot In Leg In Northeast Denver Robbery
DENVER (CBS4) - Three men robbed and shot a Denver businessman on Friday morning in the northeast part of the city.
The crime happened at about 9 a.m. at 48th and Colorado outside a liquor store located next to the victim's store.
Police said the man owns a business specializing in services for Spanish speakers in the shopping plaza, called Judy's Plaza. He was apparently on his way in to work when he was robbed and shot and the suspects drove off.
The victim hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the leg and was initially listed as being in serious condition.
The three suspects were described as being Hispanic and police said they drove away in a grey or silver compact car.
