Man Rescued After Fall In Rocky Mountain National Park

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) -- Rangers in Rocky Mountain National Park rescued a man who was injured when he fell while climbing near Black Lake on Saturday.

Park officials say 50-year-old Jason Brooks, of Wheat Ridge, was climbing without ropes when he fell about 100 feet into soft snow.

Brooks was injured, but was able to walk with rangers to an air ambulance.

Brooks was taken to Medical Center of the Rockies where his condition was not available on Sunday.
