Man Claims Self Defense In Fatal Shooting Of Homeless Man
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A Brighton man was shot to death Sunday night.
Police said the victim was shot to death in front of his wife during an altercation with another man identified as Lon Jones, 54.
Jones told police he shot the man in self defense. He was booked on a second degree murder charge.
Police said the victim and his wife were homeless and were living in a tent in the area of the shooting.
