Man Arrested After Ramming Springs Police Car
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado Springs police officer suffered minor injuries after his patrol car was rammed while trying to stop the driver of a reported stolen car.
The driver took off Wednesday after ramming the patrol car and crashed into a fence.
Charles Smart is facing charges of assault, careless driving and eluding police.
A passenger, Margot Selgam, was also arrested and charged with theft.
