Loveland Closes For The Season, A Basin Only Ski Area Still Open
LOVELAND SKI AREA, Colo. (CBS4) - The ski lifts closed for the season at Loveland on Sunday.
Loveland reported a total of 319 inches of snowfall during their 2014-2015 season. They opened on Nov. 1 and stayed open longer than all other Colorado resorts except one.
A Basin has not announced its closing date.
After a unusually dry March, ski areas saw a burst of late-season snow in April this year.
The resort reports they will begin making snow for next season in late September.
