Large Concrete Slab Falls From Colorado Springs Building

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A concrete slab fell from a building in downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday.

The slab was 3-feet wide, 10-feet long and weighed more than a ton. It fell from Centennial Hall.

Inspectors believe the steel connectors probably rusted and snapped. An engineer will inspect the rest of the building Monday.
