Lakewood Police Search For Woman With Pink Gym Bag, Car Thief
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lakewood searched for a woman suspected of stealing a gym bag, vehicle and credit cards. She was captured on surveillance video walking out of Club USA.
The woman, seen in the surveillance footage, was carrying a pink gym bag out of the gym on South Wadsworth and Belleview Avenue the day after Thanksgiving.
Investigators say the victim put her pink gym bag in a locker while she was working out. When she finished working out, she discovered her bag had been stolen. In the bag were numerous items, including her car keys to a white Lexus 450 SUV.
The vehicle was stolen from the parking lot along with several items inside the vehicle like the victim's credit cards. They were used quickly after the theft.
The Lexus was recovered on Dec. 2.
