Jury Selected For Man Accused Of Killing, Dismembering Teen

DENVER (CBS4) - A jury has been selected for the trial of a man accused of killing and dismembering a 16-year-old girl.

Edward Romero is charged in the murder of Alicia Martinez in 2010. He has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. The trial is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning.

Francesca Pagliasotti, who was Romero's girlfriend, is serving a 10-year sentence after being convicted of charges including being an accessory to murder. Prosecutors said she helped clean up the crime scene.

Another woman who prosecutors said took Martinez to the party where the crime happened pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
