Injured Hunter Rescued In Pitkin County
ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — An injured hunter has been rescued from Huntsman Ridge northwest of McClure Pass in Pitkin County.
The Pitkin County Sheriff's Department says Randy Bonner of Elizabeth was airlifted to Aspen Valley Hospital on Tuesday. The nature and extent of his injuries weren't released.
The sheriff's department was alerted to Bonner's plight at about noon Tuesday. Mountain Rescue Aspen team members traveling on snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles reached him at about 3:15 p.m.
