Injured Bear Cub Found Hiding In Pizza Joint Heads Back To The Wild
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A young bear found inside a pizza parlor in Colorado Springs has been reintroduced to the wild.
Last September the cub ran through an open door at Louie's Pizza. She had been hit by a car and had a broken paw. The bear has spent the past four months in rehabilitation with two other orphaned cubs.
All three bears have been relocated to a den built for them by Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers. That will give them a chance to hibernate this winter.
