Hancock: 'Aggressive First 100 Days In Office Agenda'
DENVER (CBS4)- Denver Mayor Michael Hancock credited citizens and city workers for helping him shape what he calls an "aggressive first 100 days in office agenda."
Hancock made the comments at the City and County Building on Tuesday.
He said his administration is making progress on the job front and wants to make Denver the most business friendly city in the country.
"We have made great progress on an agenda created by the people of Denver for the betterment of the people of Denver. Together we are driving private sector economic growth and job creation," said Hancock.
Hancock said his administration has worked hard to close the $100 million budget shortfall while protecting city services. He said he's also working towards a win-win situation to keep the National Western Stock Show in Denver.
Hancock also said he hopes to hire a new police chief in the next 2-3 weeks.
