Grass Fire In Thornton That Burned Outbuildings Under Control
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters were battling a grass fire burning in Thornton Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out near 152nd Avenue just off Quebec Street and E-470.
Thornton Fire says the flames burned three acres as well as some abandoned outbuildings and wood piles.
No homes were threatened and the fire is under control.
Investigators were working to determine the cause.
