Hickenlooper Never Doubted The Broncos Would Win
DENVER (CBS4) - Gov. John Hickenlooper says he knew that if he stayed away from the stadium on Sunday that the Denver Broncos would beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At a news conference Monday morning he said not everyone believed like he did.
"I can't tell you how many people, some people right here who I'm not going to name, seemed to think they wouldn't have a prayer; the accuracy of the passes, or the ferocity of the defense; these were problems they couldn't overcome. Oh ye of little faith," Hickenlooper said.
The governor also says he took any bet that was offered to him as long as it wasn't more than $5.
Not only are people in Colorado talking about the Broncos, so is the rest of the country. At 11:15 a.m. on Monday six of the Top 10 searches on Google were related to Sunday's game.
