Fort Collins Police Need Help Finding Man Suspected Of Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Fort Collins police are searching for a man accused of stabbing a woman.

The 43-year-old victim says the man, Charles Pierce, 42, is her ex-boyfriend. She says Pierce attacked her in her home Monday morning.

The woman is expected to survive.

Pierce is described as being 5-foot-7, 150 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and multiple tattoos on his body, including on his neck and face. He may be driving a purple Toyota RAV4 with the license plate 585-YLW.

"While police do not believe he poses an active threat to the public, Piece has a history of violent behavior. Anyone who sees him should call 911. Do not attempt to approach or contact this suspect," police said in a statement.
