Fort Carson Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) — The Pentagon says a 29-year-old Fort Carson soldier died after his vehicle hit an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan.
Staff Sgt. Joe A. Nunez Rodriguez, of Pasadena, Texas, died Thursday in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 68th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
The Defense Department did not release any other information.
