Fort Carson Soldier Dies On Highway 85
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A soldier from Fort Carson has died after an early morning traffic accident.
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday between Colorado Springs and Fountain on Highway 85.
Fountain police say Andrew Dalenko, 22, tried to get out of a truck while it was moving and struck the pavement.
Palenko was pronounced dead on the scene. Police believe alcohol was involved.
