Former Qwest Building In Denver Sold For $215 Million
DENVER (AP) -- The former Qwest building in downtown Denver has been sold.
Newark, N.J.-based Public Service Enterprise Group announced Friday that Brookfield Office Properties bought the property for $215 million.
The 54-story building once housed the headquarters of the former Qwest Communications, which displayed its name on top of the building in glowing blue signs. The building is now branded with the name of CenturyLink, which bought Qwest earlier this year.
The building was built in 1983 and PSEG has owned it since 1991.
PSEG said it sold the building as part of an effort to focus on energy investments in the United States.
