Firefighters Quickly Douse Brush Fire in Brighton
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters quickly doused a brush fire in Brighton Sunday afternoon.
The fire broke out about 1:30 p.m. east of Veterans Park along the banks of the Platte River.
No homes were threatened. The cause is being investigated.
The fire danger is very high in the southwestern portion of Colorado. The central portion us under high fire danger. The northeast is under moderate fire danger.
