February Precipitation Looks Normal, But Temps Above Normal

DENVER (CBS4) - Normally the Front Range gets about 5 inches of snow on average in February.

Right now it looks like precipitation in February will be near normal, about 5 inches. But it might all come on Friday.

Above normal precipitation is off to the east in the Arkansas Valley and in the Great Lakes region. Below normal precipitation is off to the south.

Temperatures are a different story. They will be above normal for about 3/4ths of the eastern portion of the U.S., which includes Colorado. The western portion of the U.S. will be near normal.
