Family Thanks Community After Crash That Killed 5
THORNTON, Colo. (AP) - Relatives of a family of five who were killed in a collision in suburban Denver are thanking community members for their support.
Randy and Crystal Stollsteimer and their three young boys were killed Feb. 18 when an SUV crossed a median, struck a sedan, went airborne and hit the top of the Stollsteimers' pickup.
Randy Stollsteimer's father, Chris expressed his gratitude Saturday to community members for their prayers and contributions to a fund for funeral costs.
Thornton police say the SUV that hit the pickup was driven 33-year-old Monica Chavez. She hasn't been arrested.
Police say they're still investigating.
