DENVER (CBS4) - It was an emotional day on Friday at Denver police headquarters where fallen police officers were honored for their sacrifice.
The names of 67 officers who have been killed in the line of duty were read during the ceremony. This past year officer David Roberts died from injuries he suffered back in 1985.
Three historical names were also added to the memorial. They were officers who died on the job in 1900 and 1961.
