Ex-Ellicott School Official Faces Additional Sex Charge
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- A former Ellicott school board member accused of texting lewd messages to a 14-year-old boy now faces two felony sexual assault charges involving a 17-year-old boy.
The Gazette reports that 37-year-old Stefanie Dickinson is accused of luring her 17-year-old baby sitter into a sexual relationship.
She appeared in court Wednesday when prosecutors charged her with sexual assault on a child and pattern of assault by one in a position of trust. She left the court room without commenting.
Dickinson resigned as treasurer for the school district after her arrest Sept. 18 on suspicion sexting the 14-year-old boy.
Investigator say a former high school student reported having sex with Dickinson in 2008, but no charges were filed in that case because the student was 18 at the time.
