Driver Runs After Stealing Truck, Then Crashing It
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Greeley are trying to determine if they have a suspect after a someone stole a truck and then crashed it on Monday.
Someone took the truck, which was left puffing, at approximately 5:30 a.m.
An officer spotted it, but the driver tried to get away and crashed the truck.
The driver ran away, but campus police for the University of Northern Colorado found a man they described as suspicious limping less than a mile from the crash scene. He was questioned but released.
Police say they believe forensics will solve the crime.
