Driver Of Reportedly Stolen Vehicle Resists Arrest, Gets Tased
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators in Aurora are trying to piece together the details of a crime Monday morning that involved an apparent auto theft, a crash and a Taser used during an arrest.
The incident started just before 6:30 a.m. when someone called 911 about an auto theft at Colfax and Dayton.
Soon afterwards someone spotted a car matching the description and it took off and then crashed at Colfax and Wabash. After that three people ran from the car, according to authorities.
Police said they caught up with the driver and he resisted arrest. Officers used a Taser to subdue him.
There were no major injuries in the incident.
