Douglas Bruce Loses Court Challenge
DENVER (AP) - Anti-tax activist Douglas Bruce has lost another round in court.
At a hearing Tuesday, Bruce argued that state officials misled the grand jury to obtain the indictment against him. Denver District Court Judge Anne Mansfield said a jury should decide.
According to the Denver Post, Bruce also lost a motion to move the trial to Colorado Springs where he lives.
Bruce is accused of failing to file tax returns in 2006 or 2007 and of dodging taxes on income made during those years and in 2005.
