DENVER (CBS4) - DNA evidence helped solve three cold case sexual assaults and put a violent serial rapist behind bars.
William Maldonado was sentenced to 48 years to life for each of three counts of sexual assault using a weapon causing serious bodily injury.
DNA evidence linked the 29-year-old to three sexual assaults dating back 11 years.
