Suspect Shot By Police Is A Juvenile
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Police Department confirmed a suspect shot by a police officer on Tuesday is a juvenile.
The shooting happened near 10th Avenue and Federal Boulevard after police spotted a stolen vehicle.
Investigators say the suspect who was shot and two other juveniles were in a stolen car when they were approached by police. Police say the driver was armed and was shot in the leg after a short pursuit.
The two other suspects, a male and a female, were arrested a short time later.
Police could not confirm whether any shots were fired at police.
No police officers were injured.
