During warmups, Will Barton and Jamal Murray spoke, apparently sharing the tragic news.
Shortly after, Murray shared his emotions on social media.

Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone responded to the news after the game.
"When I was growing up I remember when your parents would tell you, 'I remember where I was when John F. Kennedy got shot, when Dr. King got shot.' Our players will always remember this day because of that news and losing somebody like that way before we should've lost him," he said.
