Federal Officials Unveil Zero Emissions Plan For Denver Federal Center In Lakewood
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Officials from the Biden administration toured the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood on Wednesday. They helped unveil plans to make the building a zero-emissions structure.
The administration's modernization plan will allow the 640 acre campus to be operated entirely by renewable energy.
Once complete, it is expected to save taxpayers nearly $6 million each year.
