Craigslist Deal Ends In Shooting, Car Robbery
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A man was injured in a shooting Monday night in Lakewood after a Craigslist deal went awry.
It happened near 26th Avenue and Pierce Street at approximately 10:15 p.m. The male was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
According to Lakewood Police, the victim had posted an ad on Craigslist for some sort of illegal activity involving drugs. The ad's content has yet to be confirmed.
The suspects are described as two males, who left the scene in the victim's car: a 1998 green Ford Escort with Colorado license plate QKL-268.
