Kayaking Couple Rescued After Getting Stuck In Platte River
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver firefighters saved a couple in the South Platte River at Confluence Park Monday afternoon.
The 54-year-old grandparents were kayaking when they got stuck. They're from St. Louis and rented an inflatable kayak to go down the river.
Firefighters say the couple was trying to get past the waterfall when the kayak got stuck.
The couple was rescued safely without getting hurt.
