Coroner Identifies Man, Girl In Longmont Murder-Suicide

LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - The Boulder County coroner has identified the 38-year-old man and 3-year-old girl found in a home in Longmont last weekend as David M. Heydenburg and Allyson Heydenburg.

Coroner Emma Hall said Tuesday that further investigation is needed to determine how they died.

Police have said they believe David Heydenburg killed his daughter before killing himself. Heydenburg had been caring for his daughter over the weekend. Their bodies were found in the bedroom of his home Sunday after his estranged wife showed up to pick up the girl and no one answered the door.
