Commerce City Police Investigate Boy Struck By Car

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Commerce City will conduct an accident reconstruction on Monday as part of their investigation into an incident where a boy was struck by a vehicle.

It happened between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mile High Marketplace. Police said the 3-year-old was struck by a large SUV on one of the service roads for the vendors when he ran in front of the vehicle.

The child was listed in serious condition at Denver Health Medical Center on Sunday.

Police believe it was an unfortunate accident.
