One of the most beloved and well-known classics comes to the Colorado Symphony as it presents "Peter and the Wolf." Prokofiev's musical adventure brings Peter and the animals of the tale to life with different musical instruments, and it is a wonderfully whimsical and highly educational concert perfect for the whole family. In addition, the Colorado Symphony will feature Saint-Saens animated Carnival of the Animals program making the concert easily accessible for all ages.

This very exciting special event features Charles Denler, an Emmy award-winning composer of film, television, commercials and more. This prolific composer will be premiering his new series of symphonies that Denler is calling "Portraits of Colorado," inspired by a sunrise over the picturesque Rocky Mountains. According to the artist, it is a symphony with themes of hope and new beginnings. The evening will include a series of moving images on a large screen that inspired Denler to compose these works.

This exciting concert of classical music is back by popular demand. It's a mix of classical pieces made popular in the Warner Brothers cartoons. The symphony performs the original scores in front of the Looney Tunes cartoons, which often introduced them to a new audience.
