Colorado Starts First-Ever Wine Week

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - The first Colorado Wine Week starts Sunday, and Gov. John Hickenlooper is headed to a winery in Grand Junction to mark the occasion.

Hickenlooper planned to visit Two Rivers Winery Sunday afternoon with Agriculture Commissioner John Salazar.

The officials also planned a stop at Canyon Wind Cellars in Palisade on Monday.

The governor is also playing host to a Colorado Winefest reception on Thursday to raise money for the Governor's Residence Preservation Fund. Tickets are $65.
