Colorado Springs Man Jailed After Alleged Hammer Attack
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs have arrested a man who allegedly attacked another man with a hammer.
Dennis O'Dell has been charged with attempted first degree murder after police say he struck a man with a hammer.
The victim remains in the hospital with a serious head injury.
Police said O'Dell, 30, broke into a home located in the 3600 block of Agate Drive at about 4 p.m. Thursday.
They believe O'Dell and the victim got into some sort of fight which led to the attack. O'Dell and the residents apparently knew each other.
O'Dell is being held on a $100,000 bond.
