"This is going to be amazing year": Musical lineup announced for this summer's Cheyenne Frontier Days

Some big names are taking the stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days this summer. The full 2023 Frontier Nights musical lineup was officially announced on Thursday evening and includes Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi and the previously announced Zach Bryan. Also in the lineup is a non-country music show featuring heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch.

Other performers include Kip Moore (performing with Tim McGraw), Paul Cathen (with Eric Church), Whiskey Myers (with Cody Johnson), Carly Pearce (with Jon Pardi) and Chase Rice (with Old Dominion). Papa Roach will also be performing on the same night as Five Finger Death Punch.

The staff at Cheyenne Frontier Days is ready to start preparing for the big event.

"This is going to be amazing year," said Scott Lewis, the Contract Acts Chairman of CFD.  "We're really excited."

This will be Zach Bryan's first time performing at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Lewis said he is an artist they've had their eyes on since last year.

"He was one of the guys that we were banking on would be a big success by this year, and fortunately that is exactly what happened," Lewis said. "We are super happy and appreciative that Zach Bryan is coming to Cheyenne Frontier Days."

Another highlight of the lineup will be the closing show, Cody Johnson.

"We had him here a couple of years ago on a Sunday night and he just rocked the house, it was amazing," Lewis said. "His career has been real successful since then and the stars aligned and we can't be happier."

Frontier Nights 2023 at Cheyenne Frontier Days starts on Friday, July 21. The full list of performances is as follows:

July 22: Old Dominion with Chase Rice
July 23: Zach Bryan
July 26: Five Finger Death Punch with Papa Roach
July 27: Tim McGraw with Kip Moore
July 28: Jon Pardi with Carly Pearce
July 29: Cody Johnson with Whiskey Myers
