Swim Beach Closes Again At Cherry Creek State Park Due To Algae Bloom
(CBS4) - The swim area at Cherry Creek State Park is closed for the second time this summer due to an algae bloom. While the blooms are entirely natural, they can be harmful to people and to pets.
No one will be allowed in the water until it is determined to be safe.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife shut down the Cherry Creek Reservoir's swim beach for the same reason on July 10.
They have not said when it might reopen this time.
The state park is located in Arapahoe County.
