Chase Suspect Charged With Killing Longmont Man
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - A man who allegedly killed a truck driver from Colorado while trying to escape another crime is facing murder charges.
Police say Francis Dishmon unsuccessfully tried to rob a bank in Oklahoma near the border with Missouri on Wednesday.
He then allegedly led police on a high speed chase that ended when he crashed into a semi. The man driving the semi was James Wivell, 48, of Longmont.
Dishmon was charged Thursday with first degree murder and he's being held in jail without bond.
