Students Learn How Bill Becomes Law From Gov. Hickenlooper
DENVER (CBS4)- Gov. John Hickenlooper signed a bill into law on Friday that ensures all children receive equitable funding regardless of where they attend school.
It was a learning experience for the students at Rocky Mountain Prep who watched as the governor explained how a bill becomes a law.
The new charter school law requires public school districts to distribute revenue to both charter and public schools more evenly.
