CDOT To Use Blimp To Get The 'Big Picture' Of Traffic Flow On I-25
DENVER (CBS4) - Starting Tuesday afternoon commuters could see a blimp if they're driving on the interstate.
The Colorado Department of Transportation is using the blimp this week to monitor traffic. It's designed to see the big picture of traffic flow from a higher altitude.
CDOT is the first department in the country to use the blimp. It will be flying along Interstate 25 and 70th Avenue Tuesday through Thursday.
