Car Crash Sends 1 Vehicle Into Empty Retention Pond
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- An early morning crash sent one vehicle into an empty retention pond in Aurora.
The crash happened near the intersection of Havana and Mexico Avenue about 7:30 a.m. and kept lanes closed for a while during the morning commute.
One vehicle went hood first into an empty retention pond. One person in that vehicle was rushed to the hospital.
Copter4 flew over the crash scene where both vehicles seemed to have front end damage.
It is unclear the extent of injuries suffered in the crash or what led up to the crash.
