Brothers Will Go On Trial For 2003 Murder
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A judge ruled Friday afternoon that two brothers will go on trial for the murder of one of their wives.
Daniel, David and Roseanne DeWild all face charges in the 2003 murder of Heather DeWild. Daniel was Heather's estranged husband. David is Daniel's twin brother.
The judge said grand jury testimony shows there is enough evidence to try Daniel and David on charges of first degree murder. The judge will decide next week if Roseanne will face a trial.
The three lived together at the time of Heather's disappearance. She went missing in the summer of 2003. Her body was discovered six weeks later off Highway 6.
The DeWilds were set to get a divorce the week after she was found dead.
Heather's murder went unsolved for eight years until the trio was arrested last year in relation to her murder.
