Broncos Unveil Thursday Night 'Color Rush' Uniforms
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos Color Rush uniforms were unveiled today, showing off some serious Orange Pride.
The announcement was done on the team's social media pages with a photo of Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. moving in on a play. It's captioned "Light Up Thursday Night."
Each NFL team will sport their new monochromatic uniforms this season, celebrating each club's distinctive identity, according to CBS Sports.
We'll get a first look at them when the Buffalo Bills host the New York Jets this Thursday night on CBS4.
According to Nike, the manufacturers, "one hundred percent of the NFL's proceeds from the sale of the Color Rush jerseys will go directly to the NFL Foundation to fund health, safety and wellness programs for youth around the country."
The first $500,000 raised through the sales will go to help schools in Louisiana, where their equipment and fields were damaged or destroyed in last month's floods.
The Broncos Color Rush jerseys will debut in their Thursday night game against against the San Diego Chargers in October.
